DAY: 01 Air Port - Sigiriya
Upon arrival at Colombo International Airport, our CEYLON CLASSIC TOURS representative will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Sigiriya. After a short break, you will have the opportunity to visit the ancient rock fortress and palace of Sigiriya, also known as Lion's Rock, which was built during the reign of King Kassapa I (AD 477 – 495). Comparable to the paintings of Ajantha and Ellora Caves in India, Sigiriya's highlights include the Frescoes, Mirror Wall, and the Lion's Paw. This historical site is recognized as one of the Seven World Heritage Sites of Sri Lanka.

DAY: 02-Sigiriya - Habarana - Polonnaruwa – Sigiriya
After breakfast, we will leave for Polonnaruwa via Habarana. In Habarana, we will have the opportunity to enjoy an elephant ride. Following that, we will embark on a sightseeing tour of the ancient city of Polonnaruwa (11th Century AD). During the tour, we will visit various archaeological and historical sites in the Sacred City, including the Great Statue, Quadrangle, Royal Palace, Gal Viharaya, Kumara and Lotus Ponds, Thiwanka Image House, and many more. Additionally, we will have the chance to see one of the country’s biggest water reservoirs, Parakrama Samudraya.

DAY: 03-Sigiriya - Kandy
After breakfast, leave for Kandy via Dambulla, Nalanda, and Matale. First, visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. The rock towers 160 meters over the surrounding plains and there are more than 80 documented caves in the area. The major attractions are spread over 5 caves, which contain statues and paintings related to Lord Buddha and his life. In total, there are 153 Buddha statues, 3 statues of Sri Lankan kings, and 4 statues of gods and goddesses. Then, visit Gedige at Nalanda, one of the remarkable archaeological sites in Sri Lanka, and enjoy the Spice Garden at Matale. Take part in a conducted tour to gain knowledge about the growth and use of spices in day-to-day life.

DAY: 04-Kandy - Pinnawala – Kandy
After breakfast, we'll visit the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage, which is a captive breeding and conservation institute for wild Asian elephants. It's located in Pinnawala village, 13 km northeast of Kegalle town in Sabaragamuwa Province of Sri Lanka and is home to the largest herd of captive elephants in the world. In the evening, we'll watch the Esala Perahera.

DAY: 05 -Kandy
After breakfast, there will be a city tour of Kandy, including a visit to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Buddha. This temple is considered the most important place of worship for Buddhists worldwide. Additionally, there will be a visit to Upper Lake Drive, where you will have a bird's eye view of the city below. In the evening, we will visit the Botanical Garden at Peradeniya, the largest botanical garden on the island. This garden is renowned for its collection of orchids, with more than 300 varieties. It also houses over 5000 species of medicinal plants, spices, and palm trees, and is home to the National Herbarium.

DAY: 06 -Kandy - Negombo
After breakfast, depart for Negombo. In the afternoon, take a city tour to visit the Dutch Fort, Dutch Church, Dutch Canal, Fish Market, Lagoon with Catamaran boats, and other city sites. Transfer to the beach in the evening and head to the hotel.
